| The Dunn Coal & Oil Company was founded by my great grand father John Dunn, he was married to Mary Perry my great grand mother and they had five children. Their last child Philp John Dunn was my grand father who was married to Beulah Clark, winner of the Miss Sweet Chicago in the early decades of the 20th Century. Their daughter Beulah Mae Dunn is my mother which passed away in December of 2009. The building was torn down about 30 years ago and I did this watercolor from photographs that I had taken of it. The Dunn Coal & Oil Company was located at 51st and Federal on the south side of Chicago. | |||||
