Atlanta is a beautiful and historic city that has given this county so much both and the past and the present in the areas of the Arts, Sciences, Education, and Finance. Today Atlanta, Georgia is one of the leading economic centers in the United States, home of many of the country’s largest banks and insurance companies.

When you look at the great skyline that Atlanta has to offer it is only natural to want to capture the memory of this great city with images of her either in watercolors, oils, pen & ink, and pencil drawings.

Atlanta has two main areas of focus when it comes to painting or drawing her skyline and that is the downtown district with the 55-story Band of America Plaza and the Midtown district just to the north adjacent Piedmont Park and dominated by the 48-story Sovereign. Piedmont Park makes for a wonderful setting to use as the foreground for landscaping the midtown skyline. In the park is Lake Clara Meer when used in conjunction with the midtown skyline makes a wonderful refection.

Not far from Piedmont Park is the famous High Museum of Art, which houses the finest collection of Fine Art and sculpture in the South East.
